    Pros

PwC is a very prestigious company to work for and has an exceptional training program for someone interested in a career in public accounting.

    Cons

The hours are way over the top and the pay is miniscule compared to careers that require the same qualifications and work the same number of hours.

I have been working at PwC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great internship program, pretty incredible client exposure
    - Choose what you want to specialize in
    - Summer was pretty slow, winter is supposed to pick up quite a bit

    Cons

    - work/life can be tough in Jan/Feb, it's nothing undoable though

    Advice to Management

    - Keep doing what you're doing. Advice to new hires: nobody fresh out of college loves their job, so just keep your head down and grind thru a couple busy seasons. You'll thank yourself when you see the paychecks and more importantly, the doors you open at the firm. A+ company

I have been working at PwC full-time

    Pros

Great culture and very good pay and benefits! People are very willing to work with you, coach you, and teach you both in your technical capabilities and your long-term career trajectory.

    Cons

Lots of hours - but that will likely be the case with any managerial-level job - public or private. They do provide a lot of "flexibility" to make up for it - meaning you can work from home, take of early and work later or earlier, etc.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work on turning PwC into a world-class financial advisory and accounting firm.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with, lots of potential ways to grow in the firm, endorses flexible schedules such as working from home or 4 day weeks during non-busy season

    Cons

Lots of hours in busy season, easy to rack up vacation and not realize you're already at the limit of bankable hours, new annual review process needs more in depth description to hew hires

    Advice to Management

Make sure that new hires have a more central resource for finding information on the internal website instead of having to find out things even years later about programs or correct processes in the firm.
