    Cons

    High expectations that requires the employee to work longer hours. However, the increasing competition in business leads the firm to produce efficiency in terms of billable hours. Resulting in the cut of employee's overtime charged hours.

    I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    High personal development, cares about employee's learning curve (adequate training and coaching session). Good career path and offers a competitive salary rate.

    Cons

    Sometime can be very high pressure and workload during busy season. Very high in terms of overtime hours.

    Advice to Management

    To give more attention and seek for solution to lower overtime hours of the employee, hence the employees have more room for personal life.

    1. Mostly comprises of relatively same-aged colleagues
    2. Great to develop audit, accounting and Excel skills
    3. Helpful seniors, willing to explain and provide guidance
    4. Interns are automatically assessed for employment in the firm

    Cons

    1. High administrative tasks reserved for entry-level team members
    2. Heavy overtime during peak season (weekends can be reserved for work)
    3. Working environment depends on seniors/ managers
    4. Low remuneration

    Advice to Management

    Remuneration should be adjusted to reflect the amount of work performed

    I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good career development with systematic career path. Good inhouse training and promote individual career growth. Objective performance assessment and timely performance feedback.

    Cons

    Long working hour with a lot of overtime and even we have to extend our working time on the week end. Highly demanding work which require you to spend a lot of time in the office which unfortunately does not offer good remuneration for its employee

    Need to consider increasing the remuneration

    Pros

    Direct exposure to clients and challenging projects. The project team treated me not like an intern but as a team member that is working together to finish the project.

    Pay was quite low compared to industry standards.

    Dynamic, fun people to working with, good launchpad to expand your career for the future. Prestige.

    Cons

    No work-life balance, too many clerical/adminstrative jobs in the first year. The salary is considered low compared to the workload.

    Advice to Management

    Raise the salary, it can't keep up with the rise of living cost in Jakarta. The top management (managing partner) should ask and listen any concerns arising from the junior level employees. They are the talents and future leaders for the firm who should be taken care of.

    overtime, the awareness of work, life, balance, workload, the routine

    Give an extra attention to the workload that the associates have. Sometimes,there are too many workload but very few amount of associate who can handle it.
