I worked at PwC as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everything was great. Culture was very welcoming. No inter office politics. Very Reasonable work hours. Very good overall work experience

    Cons

Little loose in terms of the specifics of work. Large organisation so you could start feeling lost as you spend more time

    Advice to Management

I worked at PwC as an intern

    Pros

Generous compensation for interns, some fun events as well

    Cons

Project staffing is completely out of interns' hands, management doesn't always do a good job of integrating interns into project, "coaching" system is prone to apathetic coaches (which makes for a negative mentorship experience), company is not well-organized and a lot of logistical things fall through the cracks (with respect to HR, tech issues, etc.)

I worked at PwC as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The work you get is meaningful. The work you get is something interesting rather than tedious and unnecessary or 'Busy work". Every single one of the coaches is willing and able to coach you through a tax process.

    Cons

There is a high possibility that you will not get any work for a while depending on the client.

I worked at PwC as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall, great firm. I interned in advisory in Philadelphia. Pay was $38/hr plus reimbursement of all meals and travel while on-site at clients.

    Cons

It never ends, much like any consulting job. Even as an intern, I was traveling every week, having to work long hours and weekends.

    Advice to Management

Let your interns clock over 40 hours if they'r working that much. And make offer expectations clearer.

I have been working at PwC as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

From the associates to the exposure and overall experience, I have been completely blown away by this incredible internship experience. Everyone here at PwC does all that they can to keep you happy, busy and feeling like a real addition to the team. The partners are interactive with the employees, the managers care to help you with short term and long term goals, and the other associates are a great source for questions and help. I love this company and I hope to work here full time after college!

    Cons

It is a stressful job, especially during busy season, but that is to be expected from public accounting. The team does a great job in balancing the overall workload and helping each other out when need be.
