I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working with mostly peers is a great transition for newly grads to ease into the working world.
Steady promotions to ensure career development.
Amazing brand equity both within and outside the finance/professional service world.

    Cons

Busy seasons can be overwhelming at times.
The corporate politics can be a nuisance.
Experience is almost completely dependent on having good seniors/managers, and good ones usually don't stick around too long.

    Advice to Management

Consistent promotion track is great, but also leads to a surplus of managers who lack technical ability and/or management skills.
There is too much unnecessary politics when it comes to budgets and billable hours.
Some managers can have extreme OCD when it comes to formatting, which accumulates to an absurd amount of extra time spent working.

I worked at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great way to start off your career. You get thrown into a lot of situations and, if you can find a great mentor, it helps you settle in and focus.

    Cons

Long, grueling hours. I was there when they had issues promoting Asian-Americans, it ultimately ended up being the item that got me out of there.

    Advice to Management

I'm a bit older now, so I understand why the new associates are put through such tumultuous first few years. You need to see who you can champion/promote and let the rest leave to make room for fresh faces. I would say create a better work environment, though, as to not have people leave with a bad taste in their mouths.

    Cons

    Stop overworking employees.

    Pros

    - Great client base
    - Exposure to a lot of unique situations at a very quick rate
    - Ability to direct your career growth
    - Majority of coworkers are nice, intelligent, fun people

    Cons

    - While mostly flexible, 60+ hour weeks for different periods of the year take a toll
    - Diminished pay gap between new associates & experienced/senior level associates

    Advice to Management

    - Treat lower level associates less like pawns in your chess game
