    Amazing people and large clients across all industries
    PwC truly encourages you to grow your own way and find your interest and values

    Cons

    Bench time, if you aren't active in your own career PwC will try to get on a project but it's mainly about your own network connections and initiative. Sometimes you feel alone since the company is so large.

    Advice to Management

    Make associates feel less scared when on the bench

    There are tons of opportunities for growth and development, senior partners care about flexibility, you get to work on cutting edge projects

    Cons

    as with many large firms there are many layers of red tape which can be difficult to avoid at times.

    Advice to Management

    continue to focus on associates and giving them opportunities to learn, cut down on the red tape and administrative aspects of being part of a large firm, try to consolidate internal requirements.

    Great benefits, flexible work environment, positive can-do atmosphere, and team driven and collegial co-workers make working at PwC a great place to begin a career. Also there are plenty of opportunities for professional and leadership development.

    Cons

    Working for such a large entity comes with added administrative tasks and some of the simple tasks can seem unnecessarily time consuming

    Easy to enter the WMTS department in PwC and get the big four name on your resume.

    Cons

    No work-life balance. Majority of the work is done by people with no experience.

    Enjoy the people I work with at PwC. The Philadelphia office has a tight nit community, and many fun events for younger staff members.

    Cons

    The work is very tedious, there is much middleweight in the firm that brings down the top performers. The work is unrewarding.

    Pros

    Great exposure to large public clients, great people, flexibility with working remotely and great amount of vacation and holiday time off.

    Cons

    Long hours, more work piled on the better you perform, very high expectations, the pay lower than other firms and companies

    Pros

    The firm values flexibility and seeks out ways to provide flexible work schedules to staff.

    Cons

    The firm often does not seek to retain its top talent by working them to death. Measurement of "hours over normal" is detrimental.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on quality, not quantity. Focus on retaining good staff and making a path for nontraditional employees.
