I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company has some of the best and brightest talent and I am happy to work alongside of them. (DC firm)

    Cons

Some overtime is expected, especially do work for the firm. However there are flexibility depending on who is managing your team and what client you're working for.

    Advice to Management

While I think most management do actively listen to the ideas of junior staff, I think they can be more open to the ideas of junior staff. Not just listen to them but actually use those ideas and implement them. (Referring to DC firm)

    1. Great client relationship building opportunities
    2. Industry ranging experience
    3. Colleagues work hard and are down to earth
    4. Opportunity for good, technical writing
    5.

    1. Stuck in a conference room most for hours, weeks, days or months at client sites
    2. Mundane, uninteresting subject matter across the lines of services of audit and tax
    3. Long hours during busy season, which can last for months (sometimes half the year)

    Advice to Management

Foster career growth and development by truly understanding that 1st year associates straight out of college may not understand what they got into and if they express other interests or passions, support that exploration and development

    Pros

You'll get to work with many very talented and smart people. Good pay & benefits package. They really embrace diversity.

    Cons

Limited scope to move into a leadership role. CIOs come and go, with their unique visions of how IT should operate, but it's often an incomplete vision. There's often a belief that reorganizing staff in different ways will somehow effect a cultural change.
