    I worked at PwC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Working with very smart people from all over the world, and working closely with partners and senior associates.

    Cons

    Salary is low and therefore turnover is high. Except for a few projects, the bulk of the work tends to be repetitive.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on investing more in your employees. They will invariably leave unless salary is brought up to market.

    The firm has provided me with a broad range of opportunities throughout my career and I have grown tremendously. It also provides the critical flexibility for me to succeed as a mom and a professional.

    Our culture needs to maintain balance between the marketplace and our organization.

    Good brand, lots of flexibility for sales people, limited travel, lots of smart, ambitious people. Company does a lot of different things

    Cons

    Not a lot of respect for sales function by partners. Many partners still do not think PwC should have sales force. Not much chance for career advancement from sales function

    Find career path for best sales people that want to advance.

    Some teams have too much work, some teams don't have any. Many restrictions on employees because of regulations.

    -big firm, you are just a number.

    Flexible work schedule, high profile clients, build your own career mentality, travel perks / points, global networking opportunities, international travel, smart coworkers

    Cons

    Large company, corporate politics, lack of transparency, internal jobs on top of external billable work, consultants have to do project admin work, hard to plan ahead to take vacations, inefficiencies and duplicative work performed between consulting competencies
