    Pros

    Worked with Pyramid on and off for the last 10 years. Great company very structured and organized. Extremely supportive, recognize achievement, and help you to always improve in you job performance and will always take care of you. Good pay and bonus plans. Hopefully one day will be back again...

    Mandatory 50 hour work week. Horrible insurance benefits. Communication needs improvement.

    Care more about the associates on property.

    The reporting can be rough (at first), but it serves a purpose which I can now appreciate.

    Pros

    Pyramid will offer you the opportunity to learn and grow. If you do well in your position, you will be able to travel and assist with new hotel openings or conversions.

    Cons

    Pyramid is a quickly growing company so there are invariably some growing pains to go along with.

    Keep showing your team that you care and you will always get more than you expect from them.

    They care about employees, feedbacks from corporate, supporting regionals, great benefits, community involvement, performance reviews, training regularly, passionate about taking care of our guests

    Cons

    Owners don't care about the hotel and some of the executives don't even imagine the valuable, but complex market we work with

    Pros

    Theu are very focused on making sure the hourly employees are happy. Their monthly Care Rally's are a good way of keeping staff engaged and happy.

    Cons

    Way too many weekly and daily meetings. They take up so much of your time. Each meeting is to basically give you negative news, never anything positive to say about the work you are doing. Management is always worried about budget and not worried about their employees.

    Advice to Management

    Take a look at your current upper management leaders, they are the reason your employees are leaving. Way too many managers left and no one even seemed to care.

    I worked at Pyramid Hotel Group full-time

    Pros

    The people were very nice, I loved my coworkers at the hotels I worked at.

    Cons

    They never told me I was hourly, and that I didn't qualify for even a lunch break! My boss could not communicate with me, but she was out the door every day at 4. The coordinator for the department was inept, and caused a lot of trouble. People were fighting with each other as a result.

    Advice to Management

    Stop asking for thousands of reports every week. Yes, I'm exaggerating, but not by much.
