Sometimes there is not enough labor to complete the work at hand. Not enough PTO for the position.

    Pros

There are no pros at this location

    Cons

Don't file an EEOC charge they will retaliate

    Advice to Management

Never Retaliate against an employee because he or she files an eeoc charge. never try and make an employee sign away their civil rights. Go to GOOGLE or TripAdvisor to view the contract issued to me which I refused to sign.

I worked at Pyramid Hotel Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They will pay you good money if you make it to their mid level or high level executive position.

    Cons

This company only cares about adding hotels. They have 10 reports that have to be done weekly and half of them have the same information and 1/3 of them dont even impact your hotel but they still want it. Thats on top of their other ridiculous monthly and quarterly goals. Their monthly end review for owners is 120 to 150 pages long. What hotel owner will have the time to go other 150 pages of information? But Pyramid in their infinite wisdom feel is appropriate to burn trees and do these reports monthly. They company is a mess really. Everyone is spread too thin. There is a lot of micro-management. Just go away.

I worked at Pyramid Hotel Group part-time

    Pros

Great people to work with and very flexible in scheduling. Pay is good and often very simple server work.

    Cons

Inconsistent hours at times. Busy season leaves you barely any time to breath and slower season sometimes leaves you wishing for hours. This is only for the part time employees though. Full time are guaranteed hours.

    Advice to Management

Good place but perhaps do better with not overworking the managers. Leaves servers having to deal with a new boss every year because the old one got worn out and left.
