I have been working at QIAGEN full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly, motivated atmosphere and good team support. Good opportunities for progression if motivated and in general a good management team. Good products and opportunities on the Manchester site.

    Cons

Salary not quite competitive and though there are good opportunities to get promoted, there is a 10% pay increase cap for internal promotions which can seriously reduce the employee retention.

    Advice to Management

Scrap the 10% promotion pay increase policy and the rule which means you cannot apply for internal vacancie until you have been in your job for 1 year.
