I have been working at QKids part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

QKids offers great part-time hours that allow you to finish teaching every early in the day.
The QKids staff is amazing, and I cannot rave enough about how wonderful they treat their employees and how kind they are to work for.
The children are very sweet and enjoyable to work with.
With small classes, it's very easy to interact and provide one-on-one attention during class.
There is no lesson planning or grading-a teacher's dream!
This job has great (and consistent) pay and scheduling.

    Cons

Although it's not really a con, I wish I could teach more classes! With the time difference, teaching four classes a day is standard. It is perfect as a part-time position though!
Also, once in a while it can be a struggle to be engaging at 6am, but it is definitely worth it.

    Advice to Management

You have been such a blessing to me, and I am very grateful for the consistent and kind manner in which you interact with your teachers. Keep it up!

I have been working at QKids part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Where do I begin? Qkids has been AMAZING so far in the two months I’ve worked for them. The hours are a little difficult to get used to, but it’s so rewarding teaching all the cute kids. Anytime I’ve needed time off, I’ve gotten it with no issues. Also, I’ve gotten both incentives every week I’ve been with the company. Keep up the awesome work, Qkids!

    Cons

The ONLY con is that I can’t teach with this company full time!

I have been working at QKids part-time

    Pros

I've been working for Qkids about 4 months. It was a little tricky to get the hang of first, but once you do it's a lot of fun. I'm so thankful they consider those who don't have a bachelor's degree but have teaching experience. Other companies refuse to, which doesn't sense. The program is very easy to use. Staff is helpful and doesn't micromanage. Most hours I've requested to work are scheduled every week. Pay is decent.

    Cons

Not many. There can be some technical issues but it's easy to get a hold of someone to help.

I have been working at QKids part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company is amazing to work for! I've worked for them for 6 weeks now, but they've already far exceeded my expectations. I've taught with several different online companies, but this is the only one I would recommend. They pay is very good (I earn about $20 per teaching hour). The staff is incredibly supportive (both for technical help and teaching guidance). The kids are amazing to work with. And the program is second to none! It's incredibly interactive. I think I have just as much fun using it as the kids =)

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Thanks for the amazing opportunity to teach with Q Kids! Keep up the good work!

I have been working at QKids part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Qkids is a fantastic company! The material has been a delight to teach, and the kids are so cute and excited to learn. The classes are 30 minutes long and the pay rate is very competitive. There are always fun updates to mix things up and keep things interesting. The staff is pleasant, easy to work with and great at communicating. I have worked for other online esl companies and Qkids is the best I have worked for so far.

    Cons

It would be great to be able to work more hours -I have to work for 2 online companies in order to have enough hours to work. But I would rather work just for Qkids - they are amazing :) If only there were more time slots available!

    Advice to Management

Thank you Qkids for treating your teachers so well and making the lessons so fun! :)

    Pros

    - awesome students
    - thorough training and many opportunities to practice
    - good communication with your trainer and classroom coordinator
    - remote job with no transportation and commute anxiety
    - regular feedback from your trainer, which is helpful
    - good pay
    - fun and engaging teaching
    - lessons are prepared for you so it's easy to focus on how to prompt and keep students engaged

    Cons

    - early morning and late night hours only
    - upfront cost of equipment to teach (headphones, poster board for background, Ethernet connection equipment, etc.)
    - monthly pay, but there is a section in the teaching application that records everything and you can see feedback from parents when they do provide feedback
