    I worked at QSSI full-time

    Pros

Interesting work and people, multicultural environment, ability to learn a lot

    Cons

Poor work and life balance. It may appear that employees in all roles are expected to work crazy hours and weekends, and that is the norm., AND on every contract.

I have been working at QSSI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive Salary, managers try to re-position employees in other projects instead of laying off when project gets under budget constraints. Flexible hours and work from home options.

    Cons

Not transparent, hides level grades from employees to avoid paying bonus, the unpaid bonus distributed among managers, managers are unprofessional and many with no college degrees. They have neither management skills not technical skills, front desk guy promoted as manager of technical team due to favoritism forcing skilled people to seek opportunities elsewhere, financial mismanagement by managers.

    Advice to Management

Take immediate steps before things are debated in public space.

I have been working at QSSI full-time

    Pros

    Okay benefits. Talented, intelligent coworkers.

    Cons

Was great 5 years ago, but then QSSI was purchased by Optum(UHG) and it's gone downhill ever since. Rounds of layoffs. Morale is low. Optum communications always say that there are great opportunities under their larger umbrella, but good luck getting anyone at Optum to respond to you.

    Advice to Management

OptumServe needs to pull from the considerable talent left at QSSI instead of ignoring us.
Give good employees what they deserve - a fair salary and opportunities to grow.

I have been working at QSSI full-time

    Pros

Benefits are great, pay is good.

    Cons

Terrible management, lazy co-workers who are terrible at their job get to stay on while the hard working people get laid off. Management is dishonest and pick their friends over the people who do the work. I don’t see the company thriving at this rate.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking credit for the hard work your employees do. Listen to the supervisor who works closely with your teams. Let HR do their jobs and stop micromanaging. Where do you get you ideals for staff appointment? I’m disgusted by the way you people behave.

I worked at QSSI full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are the only thing that kept me there. Bagel Fridays. Added the last part because I needed to reach the 20 word minimum. Go back to Panera bagels.

    Cons

Started before the Optum merge. Learned a great deal of knowledge. Hard work gets under paid. Easy work gets over paid. No direction from management. Every town hall was filled with hope, then nothing came out of it besides top management and employees getting let go. Everything with upper management is kept hush hush. Nobody knows if there job is safe, it's not... Morale is at an all time low. I think the only thing that keeps people there is the fear of leaving a place of comfort.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs a crash course to keep this company alive.
