I have been working at QVC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Global company with a lot of opportunities to work on new technology.
Fantastic heath insurance and other benefits.
People within your team real care about each other.
If you are a young worker and want to build critical skills in IT, this is a good place to learn.

    Cons

    IT is in absolute chaos.
Constant eliminations of senior and experienced workers.
No useful training is offered. Employees have to sick or swim.
IT burn out is high, US employees are on call 24/7 and have to cover markets in the US, Europe, and Asia.
There is no work life balance

    Advice to Management

It takes 6 months for a team to become productive after a reorg. Stop reorging the teams every 6 months. Stop the secret firings/ layoff/ eliminations of your most seasoned and knowledgeable employees. These people have often sacrificed their lives for 10-20 for QVC. If their role is being eliminated then you should offer to train them for a new role.

I have been working at QVC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very easy job to maintain. Come to work on time. Follow quality call flow to insure good monthly monitoring.

    Cons

Pay is the only factor that's hard for me. It's not that good. Benefits are expensive with little coverage. Can be a very unprofessional enviroment depending on where and who you sit around within the call center.
