    I have been working at Qlik full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Data Analytics and BI is a booming industry. Qlik has been a long time established leader in the space and has made recent acquisitions to become an end to end integration & analytics platform. The product is best of breed and customers love it. Sales leadership has a new team that is making great strides in growing the business. Pay is competitive and management is supportive and always willing to help. Quotas are reasonable achievable. With a growing team, there are opportunities for growth. Great work-life balance with a supportive culture.

    Cons

    Nothing extreme, although back office processes can be a bit convoluted. Things that should be a quick turnaround time can often take days. Typical growing pains that I am sure can easily be resolved as we scale.

    I have been working at Qlik full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great BI product, the best on the market for Enterprise space.

    Cons

    Huge management turnover. No real sales process in place. Used to be a collaborative culture, now management is instilling "management by fear". The acquisition of the company by Thomas Bravo (private equity firm) makes them cut costs to the bone; It's no longer fun to work there.

    Advice to Management

    Put in place a real sales process, and stick to it. Be collaborative with the sales reps, to allow easier and faster sales cycle. Increase salaries to be even with the market.

    I worked at Qlik for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The company is still okay to work for. It used to be a lot better, but they still hire people that are generally good, open, honest & want to do the right thing.

    Cons

    Things really started changing after the acquisition. Employees were left in the dark about their futures, which led to a negative environment.

    Advice to Management

    You should share more of your strategic roadmap with your employees to foster camaraderie.

    Pros

    This company does a great job of sharing the Sweedish culture and even send you to Sweeden so you can learn the culture.

    Cons

    This company is headquartered in Sweeden and Radnor Pennsylvania--it is out of touch with the Silicon Valley. The product is great, but the Executive strategy is lacking.

    Advice to Management

    Move headquarters to Silicon Valley and be more strategic with your partnerships.

    Pros

    I can't believe there isn't a single Australian review out here! Leadership team was terrific to work with especially in Sales, Professional Services and Support, particularly within the Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne team. Strong marketing team who saw value in investing in events/partner roadshows/exhibitions which tremendously contributed to net new business.

    Cons

    Pay was on the low side but as an Account Executive, the upside in my territory certainly made up for it. Go to market strategy could have been clearer for Commercial/SMB segments.

    Advice to Management

    Invest more in your own staff to bring Qlik back to its glory pre-acquisition days
