I have been working at Qorvo full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Comparable salary and benefits. Good group of people to work with.

    Cons

Even though there is good work/life balance, there is still a tendency to overload employees, without adding necessary resources. Also, certain managers get away with treating their employees like crap.

    Advice to Management

Require managers, directors, etc to treat employees respectfully. It's not acceptable for them to act like drill sergeants, yelling and cussing at their people. It destroys morale and many good employees have left because of this.

I have been working at Qorvo full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Leading edge industry, good work/life balance but you have to care for that on your own, competitive pay, decent benefits.

    Cons

(Slow) Organization decision making and cumbersome structure can be frustrating. Not a solid culture of mentorship.

    Advice to Management

Empower middle management to make decisions and give them the organizational structure to run their business without having to work thru a hybrid matrix. Foster a culture of mentorship, growth, and cross functional training.

I have been working at Qorvo for less than a year

    Pros

Upper management is very approachable. The work environment and job culture is very supportive to professional growth and encourages technical and scientific creativity. Engineers are retained after the ending of main projects and upper management works hard to reassign them to other projects. Great work-life balance.

    Cons

The chances of advancement seems to be limited due to the relatively small product output in Richardson. The positions available for promotion is very limited.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Everyone is very professional and accommodating to requests for help and advice. Qorvo is a great place to work due to the proper treatment by the supervisors.
