I have been working at QuEST Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are good. It's salaried with overtime which is pretty nice, but they have a flat OT rate for all employees.

    Cons

The customer decides your work load, Quest doesn't really care about you. Pay isn't very competitive compares to industry standards.

    Advice to Management

They are too driven to make money and don't care about individuals.

I worked at QuEST Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a great place to begin working in the aerospace industry, or automotive industry depending on your geographic location. I learned many new skills during my time there, and was given a certain amount of latitude to function independently on a regular basis. However, my position was highly specialized, and I consider myself very lucky to have been located at the customer location (United Technologies Aerospace Systems) approximately 95% of the time.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the company is Indian owned, and it shows. The employee homepage, employee weekly emails from the company, and many activities were centered around India operations. It became clear to me after nearly 2 years of working there that if you do not move up the chain of command quickly, or get hired directly by your customer company, your choices are limited, and many employees feel trapped in a position beneath them. I left the company after attaining Team Lead status for almost a year, and it was very obvious that despite my requests to upper management for training and extra incentives for my employees, their hands were tied, and were unable to advance their employees careers.

    Advice to Management

Put pressure on India operations to keep hiring great talent directly from universities, and invest a significantly higher amount of money in further training and educating employees.

I have been working at QuEST Global full-time

    Pros

The team interaction aspect is the main reason I work for QuEST. Close interaction and communication with management are also the biggest positives

    Cons

No upward mobility is nearly impossible. Even with expirence, base pay is about what can be expected. Raises and financial incintives simply do not apply.

    Advice to Management

People who can lose their jobs at a moments notice need more than lofty promises to retain them as loyal employees

    Pros

Things started out well with meetings and being kept in the loop of things going on in the company since most employees were off icing at the client location. Things then started to drift.

    Cons

Remote locations sometimes miss out on opportunities offered through out the corporate locations.

    Advice to Management

Try to include the remote locations in more training.
