I have been working at QuEST Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is nothing much interesting to mention here.

    Cons

They dont care from which background you are from and what are your technical expertise. They only want to get a project and money from that project. It is upto you whether you struggle to manage the project or lets you off. I was hired for predictive analytics and they want me to do application development and operations support.
Few of them are very strict on timings(maintain 9:30 hours) and it is mandatory to come in formals or else the security at reception will make a note of your name and employee id.

    Advice to Management

Please dont ruin the career of your employees and let them have freedom in what they are comfortable.

I have been working at QuEST Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The younger workforce is lively and the company is always looking to give people more work/responsibility. They highly recommend overtime, which they pay you for, and would give you just about any role you ask for. Decent place to get your feet wet, either as a new engineer or manager, and continually challenged to improve.

    Cons

Poor management, employees are simply "resources", are willing to give you all the responsibility but not willing to pay you for it. Typical contract/outsourcing company that promises the moon and stars to the customer and then tries to blunt force their way through completion.

    Advice to Management

Get more in tune with your team. High turnover rate plus an unsatisfied customer mean a poorly run operation. Realize that sometimes 10 inexperienced people can be replaced with one experienced person.

I have been working at QuEST Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It’s a great place to start if you didn’t have any internship or co-op experience. I learn something new everyday. I also get great experience with the customer(PW) and I have expanded my network quite a bit.

    Cons

Pay is not great, especially if they start you as an hourly employee like me. I’m getting paid way less than other people doing the same exact job if not, I’m doing more. Definitely unfair in pay since the guy that joined my team as a new hire had better pay and was salaried, we both came from the same school and experience.

    Pros

You have multiple opportunities to learn various recruitment methods across domain and across regions.

    Cons

Absolutely no growth, ever changing leadership and never growing managers are struck to the company.

    Advice to Management

Please give opportunity with sufficient development programs to recruiters to grow who have been there during the critical periods. Its so bad that you just use them at critical times day in and day out so you can throw them out when the growth is done.

    Pros

Nice benefits and helpful management. Big industrial clients world-wide. Provides sponsorship in foreign countries.

    Cons

Salary is low. No bonus. Never had salary increment. Traveling for job purpose is hard. I did not get relocation bonus.

  8. "Getting paid to twiddle your thumbs for 7.5 hours a day"

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Former Employee - Project Engineer

I worked at QuEST Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible hours, great location near park and easy walk into Hartford, trips to Pratt & Whitney with opportunities to see the shop floor and cool machines

    Cons

Mindlessly boring. Actual work time is extremely low and no one seems to care, which creates this weird atmosphere where everyone feels kind of useless but you're getting paid so what's the big deal? The pay isn't bad for starting out, but long term it's not great, but again you're not actually doing a whole lot so technically you're being compensated fairly. Eventually, it kind of just comes down to dignity - there's nothing about this work that's satisfying, but if you're ok with that, then it's fine.

    Pros

Good to work and no work pressure

    Cons

Seniors are stick to the job , juniors are not getting chance to speak

    Advice to Management

senior who is working more than 10-5 years should always should be revolving through different project so that juniors can also enhance the ideas
