    Pros

Overall it is a good experience.

    -good benefits
    -decent pay

    Cons

    - inconsistency with implementation of policy
    - vacation policy no longer pays out rollover, but you get more time off

    Advice to Management

Be consistent. Quad has a lot of great goals but follow-through is not always there.

    I worked at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good job to get experience then move on, to get paid what the real world pays.

    Cons

low pay, lot of brain washed employees that think they have experience but are just flat out dumb.

    Advice to Management

To make better profit maybe quad family should sell the plane and get rid of all the other perks they receive. And pay the going rate to production workers. Joel gets the going rate?

    Needs better pay

    Advice to Management

The brokerage division needs better trained employees. And a more knowledgeable management who is in touch with industry standards and practices

    I worked at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Weekly pay and after 1 year you get like a week or two weeks vacation that you can't actually use for time off

    Cons

Sussex was terrible spent 3 years working 84hr weeks one 50cent raise. Employees and managers were evil. I'd rather be homeless than work there ever again

    Advice to Management

If after 20 -30 years your only making $17hr maybe your part of the problem

    Advice to Management

Stop taking money away from the people who actually run your company

I have been working at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Convenient location tenured knowledgeable employees.

    Cons

This location was acquired by Quad as a result they are not open to processes and procedures that are not their own even if proven winners.Very swim lane oriented. Driving theme doing more with less including training and compensation. Lots of work moving to Poland and qualified long term employees losing their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Training, compensation based on geographic location not based on Midwest pay scale. Offer the perks to all employees example Midwest employees have cafeterias, fitness centers and on site medical (Quad Med). Teach management to engage, reward and recognize valued employees. We are often told "that is the Quad Way" If you insist on identification use name pins the horrible head to toe blue uniforms are depressing . i do believe if Joel Q. Had an opportunity to speak to the average employee and listened to improvement ideas he would be astonished at the waste and lack of cohesive processes that are missing especially in Quality which is non existent. They often talk about retaining employees but unwillingness to compensate accordingly both tenured and college graduates can't afford to work at Quad. So much potential but company is to focused on quick fixes, to many different systems none of which tie together.

    I worked at Quad/Graphics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Other than the people I worked with I can't imagine working there again. Management could care less about the people who actually produce the product.

    Cons

Lousy pay, benefits cost more for less every year. And raises were a joke. Management only wanted costs cut every place they could.

    Advice to Management

    Show some respect
