    I worked at Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels full-time

    Pros

The company has a proven service-oriented model that really works! Their guests from both the restaurants and hotels keep coming back because of the consistent and high-end quality of food and service they receive each and every time. The front desk is a high-paced environment that allows you to interact with every guest that walks through the front door of the hotel. Details are very important, so you must be a very focused individual. And always be expected to smile!

    Cons

The management can talk down to their employees frequently and mask it as direct feedback. QW has their way of doing things because it has proven to work for their business model, which means if you're not doing it their way, fix it or you can expect firm reprimand/feedback.

I have been working at Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels full-time

    Pros

The money is nice and higher standards are nice

    Cons

They are way too uptight and it's borderline miserable to work there because of bullcrap rules and expectations.

    I worked at Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels part-time

    Pros

ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

half-price food before or after your shift

learning about and trying new foods

    tips are often good

    Cons

Constant feedback from managers.. it's supposed to be 80% positive, 20% constructive, but it seems to be the opposite where 80% is them always telling you stuff you already know how to do.

Also, being a person of color working there can be stressful from the micro aggressions from the guests and some of the staff.

    Favoritism exists among management!!

Be on top of when you can get a wage increase because management will not tell you unless you're a favorite.

    Advice to Management

Stop giving so much feedback, people know how to do their jobs and also have less favoritism and allow people to move up within the company.

    I worked at Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels full-time

    Pros

They place a high emphasis on leadership, giving you plenty of opportunity for leadership learning and growth.

    Cons

They require their salaried managers to work a minimum 12 hour day, minimum 5 days
    Work-life balance is very challenging
They openly tell you to "drink the Kool-Aid"

    Advice to Management

Allow your team to be able to enjoy their lives. Don't tell them that work-life balance is something they have to do, but must figure out themselves.
