I worked at Qualcomm as an intern

    Pros

    1. Very competitive hourly payment
    2. Provide relocation service
    3. Very welcoming culture
    4. I was in San Diego. You get to have a lot of fun around that area.

    Cons

    1. It would be nice if the manager/tech lead can explain how the projects that interns are working on affect the team or the product. It will help interns to understand better their roles.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The three months I spent as an intern at Qualcomm were three of the best. I had a great team, great workplace, and San Diego is a really nice place to be in the summer. And while Qualcomm was great in almost every way (work, pay, housing, etc.) the social life among interns outside of work really made this experience what it was. Unforgettable, and demonstrated why Qualcomm has one of the best internship programs in the country.

    Cons

You don't get matched with projects or teams until long after accepting your offer, so you may end up with a project that's not challenging enough or not in your interest area.

    Advice to Management

Make sure employee morale is high...there was definitely a bit of discontent during the past year.

Some teams that interns get placed on are better than others. However, you can work with the campus team if you need to.
