I worked at Qualcomm (Less than a year)

    Pros

The projects I worked on were actually used in their products. It's great to know your work during an internship was put to use. The work was interesting but not overbearing.

    Cons

Not much either than I could've probably been given more work to do.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, excellent housing: fully furnished luxury apartments with housekeeping, amazing location (San Diego), many programs for interns such as lecture series, home room, potluck etc.
Generally relaxed work culture for interns

    Cons

Some interns did not get to choose a team (they were directly hired for a particular team). So some of them were stuck in teams whose work they did not find interesting.

    Advice to Management

Only the digital design and software interns get to pick their team. It would be great if other interns (Analog, Test, Product) also got to pick their teams.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Freedom of thought process
Very nice work environment and work culture
Get to work with a lot of smart and talented engineers

    Cons

The time when I was interning was when there was the news of layoffs and so sometimes the environment within the office was gloomy.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I interned at Qualcomm and loved the following:
-The campus is beautiful and has many great places to hang out
-The people are helpful and nice
    -The work is challenging

    Cons

    Some things I didn't like:
-The company is too big; sometimes I felt like just a number
-There is too much red tape--meetings and access permission and the like
    -Teams very greatly in quality

    Advice to Management

Make sure to keep all your employees engaged and feeling appreciated. This will make a great company better and attract more amazing talent!

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Was given a real project as an intern. Manager and team were very willing to help me with any questions or roadblocks I ran into.

    Cons

Documentation is somewhat disorganized and there is so much (because it's a large company) that it can be hard to find the information you need.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Despite the uncertain times for the company, interning at Qualcomm was a great experience and allowed me to practice the skills I have learned in the classroom. The college team planned fun events and made sure that all interns were getting the most out of the experience.

    Cons

Working at a big company caused some pains as setup time to begin my project took 1-2 weeks. Company should look to shorten that bring up time.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing people, exciting projects, free housing for interns, interesting summer events for all Qcom interns. You are having a great chance of receiving a job offer upon completing your internship.

    Cons

Having found any cons. The company is often at the top list of best companies to work for. Don't hesitate to apply

I have been working at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Although the experience might be team dependent, my team was fantastic, project was great, manager was super chill (got to go golfing with him), and the support for interns is fantastic! We had SO many intern events and were definitely well taken care of.

    Cons

Not San Diego, CA so we sometimes didn't get to work on all the cutting edge stuff.
