I have been working at Qualcomm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Used to be a good place to work. Had good benefits and good co-workers.

    Cons

Most of management does now want to change status quo and are very biased. They have no clue on how to really reduce their cost structure - want to stick to status quo and are totally clueless and behind the curve. Reactive vs proactive and too many meetings. A lot of favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Go fix yourself and learn to listen to people who can make a difference - instead of playing favoritism and playing games. you have the lowest margins in the business because your whole structure is wrong and bloated. All you can do is buy companies to fight competition and are not really good at everything. That is why you bought CSR and NXP - no technology leadership.

I have been working at Qualcomm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Qualcomm used to be a great company, and remains a technology powerhouse in mobile chips

    Cons

The trend in the work environment is negative and the benefits are less every year

    Advice to Management

Stop giving away billions per year to shareholders while you skimp on employees and employee benefits. That is not the road to recovery.
