    good Engineering opportunities, immediate management is good, great place to work if you would like to maintain healthy work life balance

    Cons

    too many lawsuits, benefits cut and no attempt to retain top talent, salary and benefits do not compare well to software companies in the bay area

    Advice to Management

    put some effort into making sure Engineers are happy and paid according to the market. Promotions are too political and tend to go to VPs favorites

    Great co-workers, challenging projects, decent compensation

    Cons

    Volatile environment. Lay-offs happen very frequently and projects get killed. Disagreements with big customers make a big dent on the stock price.

    Qualcomm used to be a great company, and remains a technology powerhouse in mobile chips

    Cons

    The trend in the work environment is negative and the benefits are less every year

    Advice to Management

    Stop giving away billions per year to shareholders while you skimp on employees and employee benefits. That is not the road to recovery.

    Pros

    Very relax environment, good overall benefit.

    Cons

    The benefit is going down significantly, such as health care, insurance and so on.
    Especially the pay was way low compared to industry standard. Not to mention that this company needs to compete with a lot of internet company at Bay Area.

    Increase the compensation;

    Company has matured and is running out of ideas. Its trying to repackage existing technologies into different products.
