I have been working at Quality Food full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

great benefits, usually flexible hours, amazing people. the management listens when you have a need or complaint and they always try to accommodate special requests. if you are a student they patiently work around your schedule and push you to be better.

    Cons

you work in a grocery store. the pay caps out unless you go into management. you have to deal with all sorts of customers. hours and shifts are usually based on seniority unless you are in a specific department.

    Advice to Management

remember your compassion and empathy when working with your employees. avoid being "clickish"

I worked at Quality Food part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My store was a ton of fun to work at. Mangament really knew what they were doing, and was really good about giving me the hours that i wanted to work. I was currently in school during my time there, and they were very accomidating. The best part by far was the people who worked their. Everyone was super friendly and nice, none of that glumness you get at other stores. I go back every once in a while, and everyone is still so happy. Amazing place to work.

    Cons

standing for eight hours is killer on your feet, and there were some pretty dumb corporate rules. But that's to be expected

    Pros

My coworkers are really friendly, and the customers have all been polite. The job is relatively easy and low stress. There are Union benefits, as well.

    Cons

The work is repetitive. It is also annoying to have to listen to the same set of songs constantly being played. The pay is minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

So far, I would not give any advice to management. It seems everything is managed very well at the store I work at.

I have been working at Quality Food part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The way how QFC teaches how do you job is very well done. Your able to upgrade faster than the average entry level job

    Cons

Very busy where i work at. Not very good benefits. not well know who is in power. Very annoying clock in system.

    Advice to Management

i do not actually have any probables with the management. The management will treat you right and will tried and help you but most off them are gone in by 12:00PM

I worked at Quality Food (More than a year)

    Pros

One of the warmest work environments I've ever been in. From courtesy clerk to Starbucks barista, I always felt respected and encouraged by both my co-workers and my superiors. Lots of room for upward mobility - a co-worker of mine who'd began around the same time as I had made manager within just a few months.

    Cons

None to speak of, keep up the great work!

    Advice to Management

    Please see above answer.
