I have been working at Quality Services for the Autism Community full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The work is really rewarding and you will be challenged in ways you never thought could help you grow when it comes to working with the individuals. If you want to be in this field it will give you a lot of insight to how these programs really work.

    Cons

The bureaucracy is ridiculous. Certain directors will make their feelings about you known. Ie be super sketchy and shady when having any sort of interaction with you. Are willing to sacrifice good staff they think they can walk over for small things when there are other people actually doing things wrong. Can be a seriously hostile work environment if you’re not careful with senior staff. Lack of training is also an issue at times and a lot of the individuals there should be else where. Set you up for failure at times with the way staff ratios work out.
