    -Small teams that requires you to wear many hats (great for building new skills)
    -QSAC will create positions to help you grow if there are none
    -Passionate staff, knowledgable leaders

    Cons

    -Nonprofit salary (though it is in no way exploitive)

    Great place to work. Team based environment where everyone is working toward the common goal of supporting the people who received services.

    Cons

    Fast growth has led to the agency getting too large for some of it's systems

    Update systems and think like a large agency not a small one.

    Pros

    I've been here for 2 years and have loved working for QSAC! The leadership and senior staff are really committed to helping employees grow and improve and find opportunities to advance within the agency. Most of the senior staff and directors started as entry level staff and are now running departments. There is also a lot of inter-department support between program, admin, and development - we all work together as a large team.

    Across all staff levels, everyone is truly committed to helping to improving the lives of the individuals we serve. No matter which department you work for, you feel rewarded knowing that your job is making a difference for children and adults with autism.

    The working environment is very open and welcoming and people form real friendships here. As a nonprofit, the salaries will never be as high as corporate jobs, but the benefits are great and so is the work/life balance. I'm always able to take my vacation days without concern and have a flexible schedule if something comes up. Overall, I highly recommend QSAC!!

    Pros

    I've been with QSAC for more than five years. It's been a great place to learn and grow during that time. I came to QSAC with some management experience, but the leadership team at QSAC quickly gave me opportunities to expand my knowledge and awareness of the human services world. In terms of pros, QSAC has a great health insurance benefit with practically no cost to the employee, which is a huge benefit. In addition, they offer a lot of training opportunities for all staff and encourage feedback.

    Pros

    The most comfortable agency you will ever work for. QSAC is very open to all people despite sexual orientation, gender expression or disability.

    Cons

    Pay doesnt make the amount of work that we do. Other agencies pay more for the same amount of cases

    Advice to Management

    Instead of having private group meetings with just supervisors, the agency (specifically MSC department) should have monthly sit downs where people get all their concerns off their chest. The backstabbing that goes on is the one thing that severely turned me off.
