I have been working at Quanta Computer full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy Tasks
They do at least have some "company gatherings"

    Cons

Mundane tasks that will eventually be replaced by machines and automated validation systems.

    Advice to Management

The pay distribution is more than likely imbalanced...

"(CCBU) Would love to have stayed BUT..."

I worked at Quanta Computer as a contractor

    Pros

Clean, dry, climate controlled(sort of), overtime available(sometimes), laid back culture, breaks ok.

    Cons

the dept (CCBU) appeared to be very disorganized:parts not available for builds that had been planned for days/weeks, lack of tools and space, arbitrary work schedule, manpower misappropriated. Unapologetic about offensive amounts of overtime followed by part-time work weeks. I was compelled to leave by insufficient supervisors/leads and their permissive nature: unassertive in planning/directing activities, easily swayed by subordinates, relying on conscientious associates while allowing blatant laze from other associates.

    Advice to Management

I would love to have stayed but your gross disorganization was unnecessarily treading on my non-work life. I would love to have stayed but your weak supervision didn't hold associates accountable. Stop the inappropriate physical supervisor-to-employee contact which is a real potential liability.

    Pros

Reality sorry I left this great company.

    Cons

Promotions from within were a little slow forthcoming and the only I left was offered another position of interest with another company first.

I have been working at Quanta Computer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -good office environment.
-good if you are under a good manager.
-job security good if you're a hard worker.
    -freedom.

    Cons

    -low pay
-sucks when you are under a bad manager.
-most employees have low skill level.
    -almost everyone is rude.

    Advice to Management

treat employees nicer and stop yelling at everyone over small things. Take blames when your team make mistakes instead of to push them out there to struggle alone. You will not have a team if you don't have team mates, so instead of being a dictator, be a team leader.
