    I worked at Queens Community House part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great working environment
    Amazing colleagues turned into long-life friends
    The workload was decent
    The hours were very convenient as well as the location

    Cons

    The pay was low at the time. $11 an hour for the group leader position and 3.5 hours a day.
    No job security
    No advancement within the program
    No protection over veteran employees

    Advice to Management

    My only advice to management is to take notice of great employees and give them opportunities to advance.

    Friendly people who care about improving the lives of the participants of all ages. Very good benefits; lots of time off.

    Cons

    facilities need some work. Being a non profit pay is kinda low.

    Work on developing line staff into future directors and leadership position.
