I have been working at Questar Assessment full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people are great. Bright, articulate and highly educated. The mission and desire to do right for the customer are the key points stressed by management and in my experience have always been applied.

    Cons

Duplicitous HR department. HR leader is not to be trusted and has lost the respect of most of the employees. There has been lots of turnover lately. The company is trying to find their place in the new online assessment and with summative assessments.

I worked at Questar Assessment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

No time card punching, quiet environment, you have to work hard to get to know some of the people. Flexible work environment. For the most part managers don't micro-manage. The environment is clean, offers tea/coffee and overall very friendly people.

    Cons

Sometimes it seems like people are not willing to share their knowledge or help. Asking questions can be seen as a negative thing, there for people are reluctant to work together. Very quiet environment, sometimes it seems like people are afraid to share ideas. The company in general seems to be unstable, lots of turnover lately, lay offs as well. Company will sometimes say things are ok, but then lay someone off the next day so it seems like management isn't always honest. I think the company is trying to find their place in the new online assessment and a little behind with it.
