    Pros

Mostly great management, not adverse to taking risks, open communication, a formerly great culture that can again be that way

    Cons

Politics have taken over, some people/departments are not working in the best interest of the company (rather for themselves), older building and not too many perks compared to others

    Advice to Management

    Stop the politicking

    Pros

It's one of the best places where I have worked because of the culture. It feels like an extended family. Most employees are nice and genuinely try to work with each other, and the management encourages schedule flexibility and spending time with family.

    Cons

The company direction and strategy is good, but their financial growth does depends on how fast is the growth of the wearables and IoT markets

I worked at QuickLogic (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Small company atmosphere. Health Benefits are satisfactory. There is some good talent at mid level. The 401K plan is decent (no matching)

    Cons

Arbitrary and poorly thought through decisions have resulted in poor growth for the company and dwindling stock price. Engineering has shown time and again its inability to execute, and most of the capable engineers have left for better companies. While market has evolved and competition has increased, the leadership has stayed complacent. Recent layoffs have hit the employee morale, and HR has no clue on, how to engage with employees constructively. A lot of dead weight and highly compensated employees (including those are hardly at work) have been untouched while talented and highly productive employees who built the company have been let go due to individual HR perception. Company is on a steady downhill since 2015 with dwindling sales and revenues. The management including the leaders are unsure about the future direction for the company.

    Advice to Management

HR leaders needed to be seen as trusted advisers, having credibility with the rest of the organization. The no trust relationship model of current HR will push away anyone who isn’t willing to check their self-esteem at the door in exchange for a paycheck. Subjective policies and over emphasis on engineering and sales at the expense of rest of the employees will only help accelerate the failure. Many have concerns if right people are leading the company at the moment.

    Cons

probably need to earn the privilege to have own project and that depends on time and availability of projects, not a bad thing

    I worked at QuickLogic full-time

    Pros

Small company with start-up enthusiasm. The company has a close family feel, and you get to know everyone in the company. Co-workers are approachable across departments, and there isn't too much red tape to get things done.

    Cons

Little to no training or structured knowledge transfer. The products are not what one would consider cutting edge. There is dissension within the ranks that the management may not be aware of.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to career goals of employees, and how to facilitate growth.
