I have been working at Quicken Loans full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great work environment - Heavy Compensation - Great training program - Feels like your not even at work - Huge growth opportunity - Promote from within - Learn a lot about sales/finance but also life as well Incredible place to work with great benefits, great compensation, and great people. Everyone is always available to help coach or develop your skill and you can tell they truly care about your development. Could not be any happier with my position and company.

    Cons

    - Hours can be excessive occasionally - Skill set may take longer than you would hope to develop (everyone is different) The hours can be long sometimes but mainly in the beginning. It takes time to develop your skills but once it clicks, it clicks; the hours drop, the pay increases, and it becomes a lot easier. Just need to give it at least a year to reach your full potential!

    Advice to Management

Continue doing exactly what you’re your doing! Couldn’t be happier with my director, regional Vice Presidents, and Senior VP. Always there to help, coach, and develop your skill as well as be there for any additional assistance you may need.

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They have an appealing public image. Level 2 managers are good. No drug tests to get in the door!

    Cons

Their public image is a façade. . 6 day work-week, minimum 60 hours. Over 60% turnover rate in the first 6 months. Churn and burn mentality. Work-life balance is non-existent. Once past initial trainings, they do everything they can to stretch goals and pay you as little as possible. You can potentially have a negative paycheck and actually owe the company money at the end of a month. Hypocritical company ISMs. Level 3 managers are egotistical.

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Quicken has great benefits and is a good job if you are just starting your career. The company is full of life and has many leaders that are willing to help. This place is all about the money and they will embed that into you. Its all about how much you can make and how money will make everything a lot easier for you. I would say if you are fresh out of college and haven't started a family it may be a good fit but be ready to hustle and grind!

    Cons

You are going to work a TON of hours like a lot. There is no work life balance its literally work work work and on weekends to and even if you are on pace to hit your goal you will almost be guilt tripped into working. When you break down your compensation to the amount of hours you worked it almost doesn't even make sense. You get dinged for things in your paycheck and some you cant even control. They need a live base salary.

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Free popcorn and sparkingly water.

    Cons

They will preach to you things called ISMs. But the company itself doesn't follow them. For instance one of their quotes is "do the right thing" the company owns casinos. So you tell me who is doing the right thing. They will lie to you in the interview telling you one weekend a month and 50-60 hours a week. You will work every weekend. And it's closer to 70 hours a week. The company is full of people wanting to help. But when you ask them for it. They blow you off. This company is growing and becoming really big. It's not long until someone whistle blows on This company for their unfair practices.

    Advice to Management

Look out for your employees, I went to HR telling them how unhappy I am. And no one cared.

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great pay structure, good benefits, a lot of really cool opportunities. In general, they really take care of you.

    Cons

Work a lot, some leaders are extremely numbers focused and will demand a lot of extra with little incentive. Work life balance is tough until you get to a higher position, which can be tough.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget about the people to try and make money. Too many leaders cycle in and out who make good money then become too focused on it, at the detriment to those they are supposed to lead.
