5 years and 6 jobs later I found a career and a family.
Oct 6, 2022 - Geospatial Engineer in Tampa, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have worked at Quiet Professionals for just under a year already, after returning for deployment with the Army, and prior to working at QP I was not able to find a place who compensates at value, cares for their employees and is unafraid to push forward into new technology territory. QP is family oriented and is the only place that I have found that I can call my home away from home. The people are truly diverse, in all ways, and very open-minded, forward thinking, innovative and have a deep love of the Tampa Bay area and Hillsborough County. Since working here, I have been able to grow in my experience with opportunities that I would only otherwise have in the military and that is saying something. We are encouraged to participate in events like the Muddy Dash and others like them. I must say that Quiet Professionals, is the best place to work.
Cons
Honestly, I cannot find anything to that is a con.

Great place to work!
Oct 6, 2022 - Cloud Administrator in Tampa, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
QP is filled with amazingly talented individuals, great work culture, and a fun and exciting company vision, with awesome office spaces making for easily one of the best places to work! That is unless, of course, you don't like sunny ocean views and delicious coffee. - Leadership that truly cares and communicates well - Transparency with pay, job duties, and expectations - Work culture is family friendly and there is always something fun to do with other employees - Great plans for 401k, healthcare, dental, vision, etc.
Cons
- Remote work is not fully established, so if that is your main hang-up with work, you will be giving up utilizing an amazing innovative office space. - If military lingo/culture/experience is not your vibe, this is not the place for you (Duties entail working with DoD, SOCOM, contractors, etc.).

1 year in, still love going to the office Every Monday

Having come from a military and law enforcement background I've worked under many superb servant-leaders and many horrible self-absorbed and even corrupt ‘leaders’. One thing that permeates from the top to the bottom is a positive and professional work environment. Great pay and a Great employee benefits package is just the start. The entire company is comprised predominantly of military veterans (over 90%), and because of this, quiet professionals has formed the most diverse organization I've worked with since leaving the military. I'm speaking of true diversity, not boxes being checked. People from all over the country and many of whom have lived outside of the US. This talent pool of people brings vastly different experiences and ideas. One of the best facets of QP is something that 99% of companies in America do not, that is their true willingness to invest in their employees and give them a chance. Despite lacking experience on your resume, this C-Suite is willing to promote people and give them an opportunity while mentoring them. If you Really work hard to prove yourself, you can absolutely grow into a Senior level position and even an executive role. The only way this can realistically be done is that the executives, not just the management truly pays attention to their employees wanting to set them up for success. Upward mobility is the norm here. I know multiple instances of people who started out in a lower position that got their ‘foot in the door’ and then they quickly moved up/over into departments where their strengths can be leaned into. This benefits both the company and the employee making them both more successful and fulfilled in their work at the same time. (2 Examples: An employee hired to help with the employee training department, is now the recruiting manager. QP took a chance and hired a young lady without HR experience, and she is now a crucial member of our HR department.) They are constantly growing. In the past 2 months multiple positions have been opened such as IT, HR, recruiting/sourcing, just to name a few and all of those positions are to bring in new employees, not replacing employees that have quit or were terminated. Employee retention is one of the things that I paid attention to most when I was looking for a solid company to put roots down with. QPs retention rate is far above average, especially in the Defense Contracting world. It's very obvious when a former disgruntled employee who was terminated gets on social media to leave outlandish allegations of abuse or harassment. I can say with 100% certainty that QP has a Zero Tolerance policy on such behavior. I’ve witnessed one person swear at their employees and was quickly terminated. If you want a phenomenal place to work, patiently apply to get your foot in the door. QP is a very accessible company and can easily be reached via social media (LinkedIn, FB, Instagram, Etc.) or contacted through one of their many outreach programs including the Tampa chamber of commerce.
Cons
This work is not easy, so it can feel overwhelming at times. Most of the people I've seen leave the company did so seeking more money and less stress. The sad thing is there are countless people at QP that would have helped them, but they seemed to be too proud and didn't want to ask for help. I believe most of them left using the excuse of needing more pay. People spending their lives chasing pennies rarely enjoy their work. I love working here and do not have a real Con to mention.

Rapid Growth Company
Apr 22, 2022 - SEO Content Writer in Tampa, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Quiet Professionals took a chance on me while I was coming out of a difficult situation and made me feel at home. Their health benefits were amazing! I feel that they were very supportive of my development in the role and that I had the opportunity to grow as fast as I could handle and then some. It was a great opportunity that will be of value throughout my life. Behind the scenes, I saw them make a number of extremely difficult choices that reflected the integrity and sustainability of the business. Those choices may not always be apparent on the public face of things and may not have always been perfect, but I believe they did right by me personally. It's never easy to have one's position cut, but I can respect the reasons behind their choice and how they handled it.
Cons
I recommend working for QP, but please understand that the rewards come with risks, as with any business of this size and velocity. If you crave the opportunity to prove yourself, this is probably for you.
