I have been working at Quinnipiac University for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good working environment, great people to work with. Flexibility in the job with working from home or if you have a sick child (but depends on the department)

    Cons

Advancement is almost impossible. Very few career opportunities. Pay is typical for higher ed. Not great.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the people who work hard and make a difference. Not doing this demotivates.

I have been working at Quinnipiac University full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Beautiful campus, great people to work with, up and coming school.

    Cons

The environment has changed a great deal in the last few years; from a supportive environment to corporate. If you're part of a union on campus there is very little opportunity to move up.
