I worked at Quinnova Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Liked my co-workers, original commute before the company was sold

    Cons

President and one of the VP's were unethical and sexist. The company who purchased us didn't know a thing about us and wouldn't listen to our management team's expertise.

    Pros

New company, promising future until new ownership

I worked at Quinnova Pharmaceuticals full-time

    Pros

Pharma sales can be a good industry if you work for reputable company and brand. This was not one however when I was there. They have been bought out since, and CEO and VP have changed. Because of that, it is highly possible that the company has changed for the better. I would love to know that it has!

    Cons

Majorly micro-managed. Extremely unprofessional upper management. Petty and immature trainers. High turnover. Management has since changed so processes may have as well.

    Pros

Dermatology can be a fun market. Some of the IT people at home office are helpful.

    Cons

Arrogant, Unprofessional, and inexperienced sales management at all levels, who are obsessed with titles and ruling over people. Training did not get me prepared for the field and I was blamed for not driving sales within wks!! High rep turnover for these reasons, customers don't like constant new reps.

    Advice to Management

Uplift rather than tear down. Negative culture

    Pros

Money used to be great, until new ownership

    Cons

Horrible management, the company wants signature chasers. Turnover is extremely high, and this is for a reason. This company is extremely corrupt, and the work atmosphere is horrible. Stay away. Extremely unprofessional management.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees better and your turnover may not be as high!

    Pros

The non-management people I work with
The flexibility of the time I come in
Some of the benefits aren't bad

    Cons

Lack of leadership, poor and questionable decision making, a severe lack of communication, duplication of effort, there have been no raises for any employees including no cost of living increases

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, come up with a comprehensive strategy for the company that makes sense, be relevant, be current, be honest.

    Pros

Quinnova Pharmaceuticals although a small company I believe truly had good products and cares about their employees. Good benefits and great Sales Managers!

    Cons

Sell is harder then most Rx drugs because we were compared to OTC and "me too" drugs. Tons of role play the entire time your employed there!

    Advice to Management

Start off base pays are ok but it would be nice to be able to get yearly raises that are worth all the hard work we have done. I knew reps that were there for 3 years with no raise.
