Pros
Cool concept, there are dogs in the office, some of the people who work there are great, we were all quite united in our feelings towards the company and the office so in some sense felt like a community of unhappy people!
Cons
There are so many it's hard to know where to begin, 90% of the senior leadership team have no business running the business. It's proof that just because you have a good business idea, it doesn't mean you can run a business. Decisions were never stuck to and plans changed everyday, frustrating a lot of people. There was little structure in any of the teams and a lot of senior leaders and interns/more junior members... of staff. Leaders would spend all their time working on the strategy and nothing would be done as they all believed they were better than actually actioning anything. Everyone is stretched to their maximum capacity at all times, and the location is not ideal! The nearest shop is 15 mins away and you feel very unsafe going on your own.

Try not to be so arrogant, people are trying to make your vision come to life and you don't treat many of the staff with much respect. Let the people you have hired do what you have hired them to do, you don't always know best! Try and stick to one plan, atleast for longer than a day. Hire someone to run the company who knows how to run a company, your staff are miserable.

Pros
Pros are the people in the office. Most have that work hard, play hard attitude. One of the only reason I stayed as long as I did.
Cons
Really wish upper management listened to what the office had to say. So many times our team would develop new strategies on a whim, catapulting into new directions without ever asking the team what they thought. This led to confusion, lack of motivation and a work force that was tired of changing things up every time something started feeling warm. Also the areas just awful, middle of nowhere.
Advice to Management
Take a second to sit back and listen to your team. Not the people that smile, shake your hand and pretend they know what they’re talking about. But the people on the ground that are fighting to make a difference.

"Worse company I’ve ever worked with"

Pros
Nothing at all to say. There are no pros.
Cons
Everything is a con. I travelled an hour drive for my on-boarding session. I got there and felt un-welcome as soon as I got through the door. There was a gentlemen who was before me in the Q for on-boarding and he was spoke to in such a disrespectful way after asking a few common questions, he was given sarcastic responses (due to his language barrier). I was told to pay for a variety of expenses which I was not... expecting. Thereafter , I started the job and come across a few problems like paying £3 for parking (which came out of my own money) , I then explained to the live chat that I will not be able to do this drop as I am not willing to pay £3 parking (my hourly rate is £8 - petrol) ... I was told that I had to make this drop no matter what and was advised the best option for me is to pay the £3 parking and get on with the drop. Another situation was where I had to drive 50 minutes (7miles) to a drop and was given £5 mission fee. This mission fee was for making the drop and returning back to the collection point to return items. It costed me more on petrol and was not at all worth. So that’s 1hr 40 mins driving for £5 mission fee which I was told to email the fleet team in regards to this but have not yet heard a response from there. My advise is to not work for this place as they drain their drivers out by over working and underpaying them. Oh and congestion charge and pay as you go delivery insurance means that on a 5 hour shift, you earn £12 after all expenses. They make you do the drop, and if you don’t because it’s going to be a loss for you , they threaten to cancel your shifts. Lose lose situation. Save yourself the time and effort and find another delivery firm that actually care about their drivers.

There is no management as far as what I saw. I asked to speak to somebody higher as my captain kept saying “I don’t know” to all my questions, and was told to email the fleet team who do not get back to you. Worse experience.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Quiqup part-time for more than a year
Pros
Hourly rate, flexible (at times)
Cons
Increasing amount of cyclists, drivers, scooters etc all competing for a limited amount of slots to work so it is harder and harder to get desired slots, meaning it isn't that flexible at all. Slots are normally minimum 4 hours also mission fees can be as low as 30p for one job and if you have to go to the venue and order it can take up to an hour to complete they don't trust their workers at all Have to... pay an extortionate amount for equipment (as i understand other companies don't charge too much if anything for equipment). £30 is taken out of your pay for the first 10 shifts so your first 4 hour shift each week is basically you working for free as again mission fees can be extremely low. They attach a massive green box to your bike which is extremely heavy and makes it a lot harder for cyclists to get around. you get rated on time spent on missions so if you go to a restaurant and there is a big queue to order food for the customer and it takes you 30 mins to get food your rating will go down purely because of the restaurant you were at which makes no sense If i was thinking about signing up to a delivery company as a cyclist, i would consider quiqup my last choice if i were you!!
Show MoreAdvice to Management
Look after your quiqees better and you will see such an increase in customer service and productivity, and maybe the amount of negative ratings will drop! Increase mission rates to at least nearer to £1 for cyclists along with the hourly rate so it actually seems worth it to complete as many missions as possible Give us a backpack like uber eats or deliveroo!! honestly that box doesn't help anyone, it probably... slows the delivery times down more then anything. maybe think about splitting it so scooters and cars do the missions with a large amount of items and cyclists do all the smaller jobs where they can get around quicker
