I worked at Qvantel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-They have good products and clients in telecom base.

    Cons

-Work is slow & there no aggressive development happening to build the products.
-You need to be in office min 9hrs. (they will maintain register) in India, if you are not in office for 40hrs /per week, will get the caution mails and they will eat your leaves.
-No proper place currently to eat lunch, you need to adjusted to eat in paper plates/spoons.
    -HR policies should be improved.

    Advice to Management

    - There is lof of scope for finding the new innovative products and delivering them quickly.
    - Observed that development time is taking too much time - could have improved here.
    - Takes more time for any technical/product/ any other decisions, not aggressive as US based.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at Qvantel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the regular employees are good to work with and the have a good spirit. It looks like the company wants to invest in the interiors of the offices.

    Cons

The company and it's management is in a phase where it seems like they have difficulty in deciding where to head. The products and services are far from being finalized or even going to production, and the feeling was that it is not standing on a solid ground, even if customers are so promised. There's so many new employees hired that the induction of them is not taken care or well. The feeling was also that the owners of the company have too much saying in the operative work, and you will never know who pulls the strings and why.

Some of the management team didn't seem to know their own areas that will, which causes a bit of chaos in the organization. It seemed like financials was a bit of an issue also.

If you choose to work here you need to be very comfortable in a chaos and ever changing environment and decisions.

Not all the processes are in place and this creates sometimes confusion and uncertainty in people. If you are looking for settle and calm environment then Qvantel might not be the perfect match for you.

I have been working at Qvantel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Qvantel has bunch of focused stake holders who always tries to get best out of Qvantel, but they lack support from second level people. eg: Technology experts/domain experts/Project Managers.
If Qvantel fixes this, it has long way to go.
Has good mid level engineers who are technically good and focused. They lack good leaders who can coach them as much better people.
Very friendly environment and work culture, flexible policies (At least in India, not sure how they are globally)
    Good Pay master

    Cons

Unprofessional Managers who lacks talent, ethics and full of politics

    Advice to Management

Have strong second level technical team
