    I worked at R.F. MacDonald full-time

    Pros

Great people, great environment, good pay. Family atmosphere and great down to earth company. Very good company to work for

    Cons

Vacation time and PTO benefits were not as good as I would of liked. It takes quite awhile to accrue time off

I worked at R.F. MacDonald full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really nice people. Owners are Great. Co workers had great attitude. I don't know what else to say other than that.

    Cons

No job descriptions or payscale. My manager never spoke to me or with me. Did not have time to address my legal liability issues. Hr is not a true business partner.

    Advice to Management

Advertise job for what it really is.

    Pros

Many promotions from within. A very varied work force, from technicians to sales professionals.

    Cons

Many of the technicians, while paid for all hours, are required to work long hours due to the nature of a service company.

    Pros

Good training, depending on the department you're in. Stable company that had steady business. Lots of overtime pay. Great upper management.

    Cons

Lack of service cross training, unpredictable schedule, on call rotation with little incentive.

    Advice to Management

Cross train employees to prevent one employee from being the only one capable of servicing certain clients.
