    Pros

Great co-workers, fun "team building" events if you are a single young adult. A few of the consultants that worked there were extremely knowledgable and great resources for help and information.

    Cons

Micromanaged, all calls were recorded and management would often play them back to re-hash what had been discussed during the sales pitch. Sales pitch consisted of reading from a script to , colleagues did not always use ethical sales tactics. I was not a huge fan of inside sales in general, I'd rather be face to face with a sales contact. Unfortunately, my office location was in O'Hare so it was a long commute from the central city as well.

    Pros

    Good pay and Benefits
The finance group had a lot of talent at the management level that were good leaders.
They Kept spending for employee morale (parties etc) even in the face of bankruptcy.

    Cons

The company has already declared bankruptcy and merged with Supermedia, I will be suprised if that lasts.
Yellow pages are dead and Dex Media has no viable product to compete long term.
Inflated titles - everyone was a senior manager rather than a manager, senior accountants but no staff accountants etc.

    Advice to Management

    Hope for the best.
