    Pros

It's a position that allows you to learn as much as you're willing to - sky's the limit.

    Cons

There's no raises with yearly reviews and bonuses are a talked about rumor that I was never able to confirm. Really crushes morale and drive in the office.

    Advice to Management

Organization. Most importantly, give your good employees an incentive to go over and beyond as much as they already do.

I have been working at R.R. Donnelley full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

This was a great place to work prior to the split into three companies. The people are still great. It's just going to take some time to adjust to the split and new management.

    Cons

The benefits are expensive and the 401k match has been gone for awhile now. Raises are small and accountability is lacking.

    Pros

Hour lunch, moderate work load. Decent wage, company holiday festivities, department pizza parties. Checks are never late. They observe national holidays

    Cons

Some days can be very close, but you are still expected to keep busy. It was a nice office environment, besides being followed to the bathroom by my supervisor Sally

    Advice to Management

Stop following employees to the bathroom

I have been working at R.R. Donnelley (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Established company (can be a con)
If you have a good leader like I did we worked on some cutting edge technology
If your project is doing well they pretty much let you do your thing
We had a good team that got along great (not all teams are like this)
    Decent work from home policy

    Cons

Company wide 1% raises over the past 3 years is tough to justify "going over and above"
Division bonus was less than a 1% (the max is 5% of salary) - why even have it
Some of the business people can be very tough to work with (luck of the draw)
    Lot of people leaving
    No 401K match anymore

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people and understand when your raises and salaries are below the average.
