I have been working at R. Torre & Co. full-time

    Pros

The BEST Company Culture of any company where I have been employed!
    ***Work/Life Balance (Family matters)
    ***Everybody is important
    ***Overall benefits are above standard
***Everybody receives a bonus (*If the company meets yearly performance objectives)

    Cons

***Because of the "feel good" culture, we do NOT hold people accountable for mishaps, errors, performance issues (This is department specific)
***Mishaps/Errors that are "fixed" are celebrated - even though they may have cost the company extra resources or lost business
***Though an open door policy is stated and encouraged, many are afraid to speak their mind to senior management (C-suite)
***Areas needing process improvement are often times overlooked
***Investing in people is good; however, departments do not receive a fair allocation of resources

    Advice to Management

Listen to what your team shares with you. Absorb it. Consider it. The people "out" in the field are closer to the needs of our customers, their customers, consumers, etc.

I have been working at R. Torre & Co. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, benefits, culture and people. Brand is doubling in size and continues to grow! Very family oriented and great work life balance.

    Cons

Not really a con, but a watch out - continue to invest in people to allow for scaling of the business.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in people and process. Coupled with the culture - the brand will reach a Billion!

    I worked at R. Torre & Co. full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free lattes
    Good people
    401(k) match
    Profit share

    Cons

    No career growth
    Managers without people management experience
Managers feel "set up to fail"
Torani has 2 buildings with 2 ENTIRELY different cultures.
People not in the main building feel ignored, but also feel they can get away with anything, and do!

    Advice to Management

Warehouse needs to have more visibility to upper management. Teach managers to manage people.

There isn't a lot that I would say are "downsides" to working here.

    Advice to Management

Leadership can improve upon communications. Sometimes it feels that a few items don't trickle down to all employees at Torani. I think this is improving though.
