I have been working at R&R Partners full-time

    Pros

R&R has/is: energetic atmosphere, colleagues that are like family, exciting solutions/creative work for clients, good work/life balance, community involvement through R&R Foundation, 9 diverse offices; independent; and at the intersection between advertising and politics.

    Cons

With so many positives, it is difficult to find negatives. Employees are often very busy (which I see as more of a positive than a negative), and as with any agency, work is driven by deadlines. With so many creative personalities, coming to work is always exciting--never a dull moment!

I have been working at R&R Partners full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Independent Agency, Caring, Collaborative, Growing, Family Atmosphere.

    Cons

Well Known for 1-2 campaigns 'What Happens Here Stays Here" Agency. Not a fair representation of all the amazing work they have done over 42 years.

    Advice to Management

Don't sell to a holding company agency or publicly traded agency. Stay Independent to keep your culture.

"Rudderless outpost with bad leadership that actually got worse"

    I worked at R&R Partners

    Pros

Good benefits, competitive salaries, easy access to airport, free snacks, free booze, and good people who leave end up in better places.

    Cons

Los Angeles office is a rudderless outpost and leader lacking charisma and ability to rally the staff. Unable to get new business due to lack of understanding of advertising business. Creative output is feeble. Account directors would not be in same position at another reputable agency. Real management is from the Nevada office who is out of touch with Los Angeles office. Cliquish.

    Advice to Management

Hire advertising professionals. Get rid of publishers, government workers and ad sales guys. Close the office and start anew with advertising professionals.

I have been working at R&R Partners for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun environment, mgmt seems to care about employees, great benefits, flexible hours, down to earth execs

    Cons

Questionable choice of leaders for one particular office, questionable focus on growth strategies

    Advice to Management

Sometimes you need aholes to make things better. Even if they are party poopers or aren't the cool kids. Pepper some critical people in the workforce to challenge the product.

    I worked at R&R Partners full-time

    Pros

Great company culture, large accounts to work out, multiple offices, generous PTO and other benefits, and great people to work with.

    Cons

Lack of training and process, lost some clients, which in term caused a lot of employee turnover and employees to lose motivation.

    Advice to Management

Create a more cohesive training process.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at R&R Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Most people who hated their jobs in 2014/2015 are gone. It was a nightmare. There are some talented folks left in the building and some new promising faces too. Building is cool, location is okay but too far south. Uptown is much better for lunches.

    Cons

Some who stayed were the biggest part of the problem. Watch your back and trust no one. The creative department works in a refurbished basement with no windows, the PR department has no leadership and sales works for a disingenuous manager who thinks he owns the company.

    Advice to Management

I'd say to purge the incompetent but unfortunately you'd be out the door with them.

I worked at R&R Partners full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

R&R practices what they preach when it comes to family/ life balance. For the most part, you'll also be surrounded by some very nice people and have the opportunity to work on an iconic brand.

    Cons

Some of the outer offices have never really found their stride and some are struggling to stay alive. Without a doubt, the real career opportunities are on the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors account if you're willing to live in Las Vegas. Avoid the LA office unless you're looking for an internship.

I worked at R&R Partners full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great people struggling in the trenches with you.

    Cons

It starts with bad management and filters its way down. People are hired and promoted for political reasons, which have nothing to do with their ability to do their job. They make up titles that have no relevance in the industry. People become trapped since its the only gam in town and if you hate your job you need to move.

    Advice to Management

Fire all of the top management and hire people who know how to do the job.
