    Neutral Outlook

    I worked at R4 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Family atmosphere, very flexible with work schedules, foward thinking leadership, good team effort by all, good pay and benefits. Work was challenging and got great support from leadership.

    Cons

Unfortunately they lost some big contracts and we're not able to procure new work. Defense downsizing hurt this company went from 350 to 100 employees in a few months. Sad story. Cost cutting measures resulted in my job being outsourced.

    Advice to Management

Good luck in the future. I really hope you make it. R4 was the best job I ever had.

perhaps it would be better to close the place

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Although dissapointed in final outcome of being downsized. R4 was a good place to work. There were excellent benefits and the mission was a good one.

    Cons

Unfortunately poor management and the closing of Fort Momouth hurt the business severely. Lack of experience of senior leadership was also major downfall.

    Advice to Management

It is important to listen to and take the advice of the people you hire. The reason you employ them is for their expertise in the industry. Pride should never be put before sound decision making.
