I've been working at RAB for a while now and this place is a great learning and growing opportunity. The company is headed into the right direction especially with new ideas and culture to improve our drive in the market. The company is in a nice neighborhood, free healthy lunch, and the best benefit package I heard of so far. There are a lot of friendly people as well and RAB is a good place to grow into.

Cons

Because we are constantly growing, there are growing pains along the way. The facilities are currently over packed but its something to deal with until more facilities are acquired and built. Of course there should be more parking and bathrooms. you have 2 toilet stalls shared with 100 people. As for the negative reviews left listed below me, I do know which ex-employee wrote that and most of them are pretty bogus and false is because they don't know how to work together.

Pros

During my time at RAB I have seen a few lows and many highs. Right now we have been on a 6 year high. Due to the leadership of our CEO and the management team, the company has gone through unprecedented growth. The direction and the vision set forth by our CEO has transformed RAB from a follower to a leader in the lighting industry. Aggressive product development and freedom to create are some of the perks for working at RAB. Another perk is personal satisfaction which is acknowledged through very generous bonuses. Investment in training, equipment, software and people is unparalleled in our industry. All departments work well together and it's a real pleasure to work with everyone there. Very little bureaucracy allows the managers and employees to all pull in the same direction towards one goal - Company success .

Cons

Long distance from my house, but I have been gladly doing it for a long time. Definitely worth the trip.

I would give a 5-star ratings to the CEO, the company, the culture, the people, the benefits, the products, the innovation. Everything about RAB is great!!

Nothing major to be labeled as "Cons". Since most of us are working remotely, we are not able to meet/know the new employees. Sometimes it's hard to actually tell how many of us in our own department!!! that's it!!

A strong commitment to maintain cultural values makes this company successful for 74 years. RAB places a tremendous emphasis on excellent customer service and has created employees loyal and committed to this company. A cohesive, talented, friendly staff makes this a great place to work There is room for growth and advancement.

Few negatives, other than working from home these days, due to Covid.

RAB really takes care of their employees. RAB offers great and flexible benefits compared to my past employers. RAB also have gone out of its way to take care of families of RAB's employees in times of of personal and global crisis. I am very happy to have found a career in RAB.

Significant changes have taken place with management and structure. This has been trying at times. However, the core values have stayed consistent.

It’s not like I didn’t feel cared for by RAB during the first 12 years of my employment, but RAB took it to another level during the incredibly unsettling year that has been 2020. Our CEO displayed leadership and poise while expressing genuine concern and interest in the well being of RAB employees and our families.

RAB Lighting is a great company to work for if you are looking for a company that values culture. I have been working at RAB Lighting for 25+ years and all employees are treated with a sense of value and appreciation. Our CEO encourages employee feedback and involves us in the decision making. Throughout our growth period, the company continued to operate as a family owned business with both employees and customers in mind. I am extremely appreciative to continue to work for a company that cares!

RAB is a very fast growing lighting company with a lot of opportunities for employees to grow professionally and personally. The company encourages and financially supports its employees on professional development, ie. Company pays for CPIM, CSCP, LC classes and exams, PDMs …..The young CEO with sharp vision about the LED lighting market and the outstanding new product development team strike to develop innovative products and push to the market quickly. The upscale Northvale headquarters is recently renovated. Employees enjoy free healthy lunch and organic fruits, flexible work hours, generous benefits, corroborated environment, a lot of smart and young people/a lot of RAB babies, good future :)

Cons

The company is experiencing some growing pain. Constantly train new employees, May lack of parking space when there are visitors.
