I worked at RB full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Close to home. People are generally nice. Positive for them you do the job of 2 or 3 people and get paid for 1/3 of what you do.

    Cons

They don't respect your time. Work/life balance does not exist. Management needs to pay attention to what employees are saying. Great company with a lot of potential to be a great place to work but personally I couldn't deal with the regressive mob mentality of some of the leaders at RB that ultimately result in an overwhelming feeling of hostility that drive you to feeling undervalued, overworked, underpaid, and if you are not one of the favorites you will be treated like you don't even exist. Promotions are given to those that are liked by functional leaders and sadly for those that are deserving of recognition for their hard work, HR does not question anything-they just do.

    Pros

    Good benefits and nothing else

    Cons

You work 65 hour weeks and get called at night and on weekends. The f bombs fly in texts and emails. You are belittled constantly. Everyone is threatened constantly.

    Advice to Management

A number of us are keeping recordings, emails and texts. We are preparing a harrasment lawsuit.

I worked at RB full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company store. Occasional open-bar event at work during the work day.

    Cons

Cut-throat! If you're not from RB Europe or Australia, you won't go anywhere. Forget about HR as they are either in bed with the bad managers or too incompetent to realize that they should stop the poor treatment of lower level employees by higher level managers.

    Advice to Management

Be honest about what you are and then pay people to put up with that!

I worked at RB full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Comp is slightly higher than most CPGs. Great maternity policy. Due to attrition, promotions likely to be easier to achieve now.

    Cons

HR is a joke, management likes to import Europeans and sell out even the highest performing local marketers, culture-less, everyone is dispensable

    Advice to Management

CMO should resign and contribute his salary toward bringing back all the stars. As if a $10K referral bonus is going to solve for its now abysmal reputation and replenish the ranks with quality candidates. Should have rewarded loyalty with the same earlier in the game.

I have been working at RB full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Met a few really great people, learned a lot in a short time - but the RB way

    Cons

Managers are less than competent and can't lead their teams. Pay is low on the scale as RB tries to stay "lean." Company morale and culture is horrible and everyone for the most part is miserable in their roles and it shows. It may seem like butterflies and rainbows during your interview but that fades away quick! Not worth it. Total boys club too.

    Advice to Management

Either hire competent management or TRAIN them or fire them! Try to act like you value your employees.

    Pros

free mustard, good co-workers, eat all the free FFO's you want.

    Cons

management only likes it if you work over time all the time, no family life, dishonest, don't have a better idea than them, and they discriminate.

    Advice to Management

get over your selves, get out on the plant floor and learn what's really happening,

    Pros

    Good stepping stone.
Welcomes B-tier MBA graduates or even if no MBA

    Cons

Too many meetings, always working for a meeting deck
No time for day to day work which leads to long hours, even weekends.

28 people resigned in the last 4 months in the USA Marketing

Base salary is barely par or below market average because they boast about high bonus structure which is a scam. Bonus KPI is always set to be unachievable. Dont fall for this trap.

    Advice to Management

Please stop abusing your talent. 28 people resigned in the last 4 months in the USA Marketing so that is enough of a slap on your face.

I have been working at RB full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Strong brands and potential growth

    Cons

Embarrassing company party culture. Completely tolerated and encouraged by management. I wanted to deny I worked here at a recent event. Not acting like adults or professionals and people at these venues will remember RB this way. Rumors of management party behavior undermines credibility of senior team in day to day work. Hard to respect people with some of the stories circulating.

    Advice to Management

Encourage people to have fun, but be adults. If you're going to encourage that behavior rent the whole place so no one else sees the company behaving that way.
