I worked at RB as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is committed and it pulls you in. If you have talent, it is recognized and you will be given new responsibilities that make you shine. You must be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team. Your team is always more than local; it can expand worldwide. RB will bend over backward for you, if you do it for them.

    Cons

For me, environmental issues with detergents and essential oils. RB will do what it can, but there is only so much they can do as a producer of products using detergents, perfumes and food flavors/essential oils.

    Advice to Management

Keep making your employees feel irreplaceable.

I worked at RB full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Lots of Overtime, great benefits, room for advancement with tenure. Large company with numerous plants, products, and brands. There is always something new coming down the pipeline and steady growth in all the categories: Health, Home, and Hygiene.

    Cons

Work to Home life is very unbalanced, RB will work you 60+ hours a week, 12+ hours a day. Some stretches of 10-15 days without a day off with 12-hour days mixed in. Great opportunity for a young, single, and ambitious employee.

    Advice to Management

Top Site priorities should always be:
    Safety
    Quality
    Service
    Cost
When the order gets changed, the process, products, and employees suffer.

RB is a wonderful environment to work. Its a fast paced and demanding work space, which gives you the opportunity to learn more and get involved with cross functional teams. They do encourage employees in lateral shifts within the organisation, by providing opportunities to get trained and work with other departments. Supportive senior management. Friendly culture.
