    I worked at RBC full-time

    Pros

Benefits were great but thats pretty much it.

    Cons

Top down management approach. And definetly does not have an open door policy. Just too much politics in general.

I have been working at RBC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great training and development. Well developed systems for onboarding and integration into a portfolio. Company competes well in most markets which makes the job a bit easier.

    Cons

Demand for account managers is greatest in the higher growth areas of the lower mainland (Surrey, coquitlam, etc) which may not be ideal.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up with the process automation.

I have been working at RBC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Large company, good opportunity to find best fit
    - Supportive management and peers

    Cons

    - Performance metrics tied to bonus compensation do not necessarily promote the best allocation of resources.
    - Relatively risk averse/ passive compared to competition when it comes to business acquisition.

    Advice to Management

Although diversity is emphasized, certain locations may exhibit imbalance independent of market demographics.

I have been working at RBC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Rbc is a great company to work for. Flex benefits, purchase vacation option, competitive salary range, career advancement opportunities. Great management style. Rewards and recognition programs.

    Cons

Benefits are Ok but could be cheaper and higher limits for dental plan and medical. Vacation entitlement only three weeks and goes up by one week after 10 years. Max vacation is 5 weeks after 15 years I think you can have unpaid vacation time which is ok but would be nice to have more days sooner then 10-15 yrs.
