I have been working at RBS Citizens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Salary is excellent with decent benefits. Very good products and services to offer your clients and prospects. Especially if your clients/prospects need FX as we offer a dedicated department of professionals that will get the job done and at a savings for both time and money.

    Cons

Too many lists of un-scrubbed prospect calls to make. Reporting sys poor and chasing credit is a nightmare. Lack of colleagues respect for portfolios which makes it confusing for the client to know who to call when they need something.

    Advice to Management

Retail needs to play nicer with business and commercial banking and respect the portfolios and not actively call on these customers as it confuses the clients and makes managing our clients more difficult than it should be. The constant closing of accounts and opening new ones is out of hand and is mainly a result of branches calling on portfolios that they should not. Looking up officer codes is really easy and this nonsense can easily be avoided. I am disappointed that we have let this retail vs business side of the house get so disconnected. Please fix so we can continue working for a company that has all the right stuff to be the best bank for clients and colleagues.

I have been working at RBS Citizens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

NONE at all....DO NOT work for this company.

    Cons

If you are sick, disabled or you are not part of their clique...you are discriminated against. They will make your life a living hell and lie about you to make you look bad. MANAGEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND HR IS A JOKE!!

    Advice to Management

From the top to the bottom....all managers need to be trained on FMLA, ADA and more importantly need to be trained on all aspects of management. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and everyone passes the buck down the line to the next person. If you are not a teachers (managers) pet it doesn't matter how good of a job you do or how much your customers acknowledge you...management will NEVER acknowledge you or promote you.
