I have been working at RBX Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They get you home when you want to be, as often as you request it. That is a big plus!

    Cons

Have to fight to get detention pay, it never shows up in pay when due.
Miles promised, average 2500 per week, have not materialized. Have averaged around 2100.
Have to wait long periods of time after drops to get the next load, which is why the mileage doesn't average what is promised. Because of the long wait times for loads, you don't have enough time left on your clock to drive and get the miles they promise.
When you end up back at the terminal with a load, the wait time the next day to go out is ridiculously long.
If your truck needs service, there are not back up trucks available to keep drivers on the road.

    Advice to Management

Load planning needs improvement. Your planners should already have an idea where to send drivers next before they drop their load. Loads for the next day should be planned ahead of time so that drivers aren't sitting and waiting for three hours at the terminal before they can even get started.

    Pros

Had great home time could and would get you home when needed. No northeast no west coast. Great training program

    Cons

Bad equipment, lots of Chicago, bad weekly miles. Was lucky to get 1500 miles a week

    Advice to Management

Make fuel bonus easier to get with those older trucks

I have been working at RBX Transportation (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice newer equipment. Pay check is right and always there.

    Cons

They advertise that you will average 2500 miles a week. I've been here 6 months and only averaging 2144. I'm looking for something else.

    Advice to Management

Either stop lying to drivers or live up to what you say.
