I have been working at RE/MAX full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

World recognized brand that spends a lot on advertising and marketing. If you land in an office with great management and support, you can't fail!

    Cons

Not many perks for such a recognized brand. Should have more global training, and better deals on marketing materials for franchises.

    Advice to Management

    More perks - discounted benefits.

I have been working at RE/MAX full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There is a reason RE/MAX Elite sells more homes in Brevard County than any other real estate brokerage and it is because of the awesome leadership & support!

    Cons

None, this is a fantastic place to hang your license

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

Current Contractor - Anonymous Contractor in Virginia Beach, VA

I have been working at RE/MAX as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Independence, great website for agents, great support from corporate and great commission split

    Cons

Not a lot of training unless you do the online training which can be a bit confusing - new Web site and affiliation with homes.com is not user-friendly in the whole lead system is not good anymore.

    Advice to Management

Agents and what runs the company and provides the income. Without a better website for people to go to an agent leads it makes it difficult to compete with the other agencies who have both

    Pros

Great place to work. Has lead generation, the agents are the best in the business and Re/Max os the best name in the business..

    Cons

There is a franchise fee and normally desk fee or you can be a Mobil agent. There really are not any other con's.

    Advice to Management

All of the franchise are individully owned. I really do not have any advise for the management
The office I work at is awesome.

    I have been working at RE/MAX full-time

    Pros

Big name, not pushy, teaches individually.

    Cons

Every office is completely different in its operations.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

It's a good brokerage to work for. The company has a large property management division. This offers additional income to its agents doing rental showings. The broker is extremely accommodating answering any questions or concerns that you may have concerning a real estate transaction .

    Cons

There is no real formal training for new agents . This makes it difficult for an agent who have just secured the real estate license.

    Advice to Management

I would develop a training program for new agents. Also I would consider a mentoring program for the new agents.
