    I worked at RE/MAX full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A degree is not necessary. Former experience is also unnecessary. The hours can be flexible depending on which agent you are working for.

    Cons

Late hours or weekends can happen at the agents discretion. The can be a lot of driving involved depending on the area covered.

    Advice to Management

Be kind to the assistants, without them a lot of the normal day to day task would not happen and without them the office would not function as smoothly

I have been working at RE/MAX full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very supportive and easy going broker. Friendly staff to help you get set up. Great private offices available to rent. Awesome location near downtown. Very clean and impressive office.

    Cons

As an agent, you are own your own although many of the other agents are very friendly and willing to help you out with questions. The private offices can be a little expensive but you can easily have an office-mate to partner with and split the costs.

    Advice to Management

None, I really enjoy it here!

Good company to work for. Pay was good, benefits were great. Plenty of vacation days and most employees were allowed to work remotely.

    Cons

Senior management made some odd choices.

I have been working at RE/MAX (Less than a year)

    Pros

RE/MAX has provided me with a lot of great marketing experience and I have had the opportunity to be surrounded with fantastic co-workers during my experience.

    Cons

There is not anything I can say negatively about my experience at RE/MAX. I do not plan to pursue real estate, but loved working on marketing for the company

    I worked at RE/MAX full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Commission only job but you get what you put into your work. Split varies brokerage to brokerage but Remax does take extra fees on top. Easy to say you are a Remax agent with a reputable name. Leads can vary season to season but steady income is not hard to come by with a full time

    Cons

Split can really cut into commissions, many times of no sales but you get what you put into the job. Commission only is not for everyone but there really is no limit to earning capacity.

    Advice to Management

Switching to a corporate structure has turned the company into more of numbers game instead of a family oriented sales experience. Less agents per office helps with employee morale.

I have been working at RE/MAX part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great employers. Flexible hours. Ability to work from home and choose your own hours that you're available to work. Good pay and incremental raises, without having to ask for them.

    Cons

No benefits as a part-time employee. There really aren't any other cons to working here. It's really a dream job for anyone who needs good pay with lots of flexibility.

    Advice to Management

No advice. management treats their employees fairly and kindly. They don't just treat you like an employee, they treat you like family.
