    Pros

Solar is booming. Great people and culture good management. Easy to advance and company is one of the few legit products for solar in Arizona. Best warranties in the business. Very easy going atmosphere and top dollar pay

    Cons

Training is outdated. Inefficient sales support you really need to be a self motivator and experienced sales person to succeed. Pay is unbalanced outside of sales positions. Management is incentivised poorly.

    Advice to Management

Get in the field and work with your people. Lead from the front not desk.

Working in SLO, working for a great cause, nice people.

    Cons

Stingy high level leadership who consistently set unrealistic goals so no bonuses are ever paid.

I have been working at REC Solar full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, nice coworkers, great location

    Cons

Frequent management turnover, lack of clear direction at all levels. Because management turns over so frequently, no one wants to make any big, conclusive decisions, which leaves a lot of internal improvements hanging in the air.

    Advice to Management

Please stop turning over every 6 months, enforce company policies and procedures among the salespeople, and provide a clear direction.

I worked at REC Solar full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay was good and work environment was pretty decent. The HR department made it a point to hold fun company events and they really made an effort, which I feel goes a long way.

    Cons

Lacked leadership with management. Management set a really poor tone when they laid off so many employees right before the holidays, only to turn around and hire a significant number of new executives. Really hurt the culture in my opinion because everyone was afraid their job could potentially be on the line next.

I worked at REC Solar full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Mostly the people are down to earth, easy to work with and are hard-working. The company culture is more relaxed than at other places I have worked at, making it a pleasure to go work each day and give my best. No one will beat you over the head if you are late and they understand work/life balance for the most part.

    Cons

The company has had ELT staff come and go and it seems like they can't get it together and get the company on track. After letting several people go across the company, they continue to month after month (since then) be hiring in new team members. At the end of the day, you are just another person and it's a numbers game they will manage at the expense of your personal life instead of trying to put existing staff in other positions or finding other solutions. Simon Sinek has corporations pegged correctly.

    Advice to Management

Value your people, they are humans who will work hard for you if you treat them right.

    Pros

Great encouragement from management for all the sales teams. They sell a great product with many payment options for the consumer.

    Cons

Lack of ethics, integrity, and organization in upper management. Sales is all this company is concerned with.

    Advice to Management

Please pay more attention to the rest of the staff and take proper action rather than protecting your top-sellers.

    Pros

They're employees are knowledgable hard working. Particularly their sales staff.

    Cons

Pay to their sales staff is below industry standards, which results in turnover occasionally which is unfortunate as they have some really good people.

    Advice to Management

Less than .$01 DC per Watt to your own sales people is pathetic. Pay to outside consultants is below industry standards too.
