    Pros

Great people. On boarding was very smooth and hiring team and cooperate where very kind and involved in answering all questions and concerns.

    Cons

In my opinion and it is solely my opinion i felt the preparation for a new contract was being underestimated and felt things should have been run differently for and preparation is everything especially for starting a new business/customer relationship.

    Advice to Management

Management was great. My advice is that Management should really be more involved and physically be there well things are being run. They need to be aware of how long individual orders take and realize the amount of new orders coming. Starting a new contract with a customer should be over done: storage, more staff, two shifts, spacing.

I have been working at REVOLUTION FOODS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Revolution Foods has a fantastic culture with a focus on success as a team and living the mission. Everyone's willing to pitch in to support one another. The leadership is innovative, transparent and genuinely cares for the team, always striving for improvement. The team is full of amazingly talented and passionate individuals. There's a great work/life balance, with flexible hours and telecommuting depending on the position. The company has and continues to grow quickly, leaving lots of opportunity for professional growth which is backed by leadership. The mission is strong and at the end of the day that's the glue that brings us all together - we're helping to make healthy food for kids!

    Cons

There's always room for improvement within a fast growing organization, but leadership recognizes this and offers genuine support. More resources being made available to the operations team would relieve some of these growing pains.

    Pros

Great energy from the leaders and team. Everyone pitches in with great entrepreneurial spirit. Super friendly environment. Flexible work hours. Telecommuting. Dog friendly office. Delicious and healthy lunch every day. Working with incredible communities to provide healthy meals for kids and adults. Great sense of purpose!

    Cons

So many opportunities at hand with incredible potential. There's always a need for larger budgets and marketing dollars to provide tools and resources to build and grow larger brand awareness.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great energy and fight to ensure our commitment!

I worked at REVOLUTION FOODS full-time

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule, positive mission

    Cons

Management does not embody core values and in particular certainly do not "care for all." There's no work/life balance, you're expected to respond to emails and calls at any time of any day. There is no positive reinforcement, and zero accountability. Most decisions seem to be made based on personality and cronyism. If you don't come from the restaurant, retail or industrialized food world you're an outsider and your opinions are not valued. Communication is abhorrent and general business practices are unsavory and unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees; make sure that they are trained properly and given the tools they need to be successful. Show some appreciation for the hard work that the employees on the front lines of the company put in. Value your human capital more than your actual capital. Be transparent in your decision making and improve communication on all levels.

I worked at REVOLUTION FOODS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Their mission and equal opportunity are the only pros to Revolution Foods

    Cons

In my 3+ yrs, its always a mess! Safety and health hazards EVERYWHERE. General manager is horrible. There are some decent people but good communication doesn't exist. Far too much discrimination and unfair treatment. Employees are treated according to personal preference instead of work ethics.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to the employees and start treating them fairly.

    Pros

The only pro was the free lunch. Pretty good food. Co-workers were mostly nice. Can't think of any other pros for this place.

    Cons

Management doesn't make anyone follow any rules, so it's crazy in the factory. People yell at each other and no one follows rules. Pay is not competitive.
